New Delhi, September 10, 2012 – NIA– Dr. Raj Baldev, Cosmo Theorist, President NIA – National Integration Assembly (NIA), an NGO serving the nation for over 4 decades by promoting national integration on national and international levels and world peace, has drawn an inference that Indian States have become a free battle field for communal riots and they need immediate control by the Center.
The NIA placed this report before its executive committee members here today and requested them to educate the States on this issue with close cooperation and guidance of the Center.
It shall be more advisable for the Prime Minister to form a committee and find out the correct solution of different states like growing differences and problems between the original inhabitants and the new ones who wish to settle thereafter.
The basic and essential resources of life in each state are limited, the Govt. should formulate and see that the original resources which are limited now days, are not eaten away by the new people who wish to settle in the new states.
The situation has become grim, gloomy and dismal as it has become in Maharashtrian and Biharis and Bodos in Assam and so on. The problem has become a major cause of disintegration and may lead to avoidable riots in different states.
Some excerpts of the speech of NIA President which he gave on September 10, 2012, in New Delhi Meet:
“The present main problem between states in India is that the people from different states used to move from one state to another to settle over there. That time was different, the resources were abundant and most of the regions of the state were empty inviting people to settle over there, to make it flourish.
Now time has changed, each important state can’t bear the burden of new entrants of any other state due to shortage of basic resources like water, electricity, employment, or labor and intellectual, accommodation, hospital and so on, particularly in big cities, which are already overcrowded.
No doubt India is a free country and everyone is entitled to go anywhere and settle in any state but the present problem is diverse, particularly the resources of big cities are very limited, they can’t accommodate more people with all basic amenities. The govt. needs to be serious, special committees are required to be formed to see the solution; otherwise there shall be growing problems like Maharashtra , Assam and other states.
Mr. Lalu Prasad’s blamed on Sunday that all Thackerays are originally Biahris and as such gave a call to them to get out of Maharashtra. It is really an unfortunate and irresponsible allegation.
Mr. Lalu is a man of stature, he should have realized the crux of the problem rather than to get provoked like this.
He should have suggested to the Central Govt. to find out some solution for such problems being erupted in different big cities and avoid riots among the people.
The old history is quite clear and guide us that settlement in olden days was free form all angles but that doesn’t apply today. Those days, great many regions were empty and attracted to be inhabited. There was a time when all Indians were infiltrators, what to talk of Maharashtra or Thackerays?
I would like to draw your attention to the old history of India which confirms that all Indians are infiltrators; the Aryans entered India, the first major civilization flourished around 5000 years back in the valley along with the Indus River in Sindh Province now in Pakistan.
India’s first major civilization which flourished around 5000 year back could be traced in the valley along the Indus River. The society had its own standard, expertise and lifestyle; they possessed necessary knowledge of excellent town planning of their time which still holds today.
The original inhabitants of this valley were Dravidian Descent, who had an advanced civilization. From this principle of entering any new region one can pretty well learn the procedure.
Those people who are earlier inhabitants in any State are always considered to be original and not those who come thereafter or later on. As such Thackerays belong to Maharashtra and not Bihar, the allegation leveled by Mr. Lalu that they were Biharis is just misleading and politically motivated.
Even the civilizations in Egypt and Sumer also happened almost during the similar period, no matter how far it could maintain its memento.”
It is now the proper time when the state and the central leadership should think over this problem seriously rather than to allow the plague of controversies and riots to erupt from one state to another.”
